Overview: American Women for International Understanding (AWIU) was founded to "promote worldwide woman-to-woman interaction and understanding". The organization spreads its message throught study programs, delegations and grants. Funding areas: Micro-grants to groups enhancing the wellbeing of women, especially in developing countries.
