Ann Bancroft Foundation

Overview: Founded by Ann Bancroft, who is known for her many polar expeditions. The foundation was established in 1991 "to support the educational mission of the historic all-women's Antarctic polar expedition in 1993." Funding Areas: Ann Bancroft Foundation makes grants for girls' programs in Minnesota, the founder's home state.
