Ascend Fund

Overview: The Ascend Fund launched in January 2020 as a way to fund more gender equality in U.S. politics. The Ascend Fund "pools philanthropic capital and supports nonpartisan nonprofit organizations that prepare women to run for office and work to break down the barriers preventing women from running and getting elected." Areas Funded: Current grant recipients include Vote, Run, Lead and New American Leaders. Prior recipients include GALvanize, Groundswell Fund, LatinasRepresent, Reflect US, Running Start, Women Engaged.
