Associated Country Women of the World

Overview: ACWW funds projects that "support real-life changes for women in rural communities around the world." The projects are "women-led, designed by women in their own communities who know best what they need, and we fund them through local women's organisations to ensure maximum impact." In 2018, ACWW launched The Women Empowered Fund, a new funding initiative with six focus areas. Funding Areas: Education and capacity building, Sustainable agriculture, income generation and livelihood, sustainable water, sanitation, and energy, and maternal and reproductive health.
