Cultural Survival

Overview: Cultural Survival is an organization dedicated to preserving and honoring the right of indigenous peoples. Through advocacy, communication through media, the Indigenous Rights Radio, an annual bazaar, and grantmaking, the organization seeks to make real changes on political and social levels. Grantmaking is done through the Keepers of the Earth Fund and the Community Media Grants Project. The organization also works to empower indigenous women in particular and as a strong advocate for sustainability and action on climate change.
