Overview: Ecumenical Women’s Initiative (EWI) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that supports women as initiators of change in faith communities and in society. Located in Croatia, Ecumenical Women’s Initiative (EWI) makes grants to faith communities to address "women’s rights, peace building and reconciliation, belief-based ecumenical and inter-religious dialogue & cooperation in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia." EWI provides grants to strengthen both technical and human resources for organizations.
