Overview: The European Journalism Centre (EJC) funds organizations that promote freedom, leadership, diversity, and digital skills in journalism worldwide. It operates The Innovation in Development Reporting Grant Programme (IDR) which awards grants to organizations practicing and promoting innovative journalism, choosing a topic during each call for applications. The 2020 grants were awarded to projects focusing on current opportunities for women.
