Overview: Exelon is an American energy provider and Fortune 100 company. It makes grants to the community, in addition to sponsoring multiple programs to encourage women in STEM. Funding areas: Corporate giving is directed to four main areas: programs that encourage students to stay in school, improve the quality of our environment, make arts and culture more accessible, or support individuals and families most in need. In May of 2021, Exelon and Exelon Foundation surprised seven young women from the company’s STEM Academy Leadership program with full-ride college scholarships.
