Global Partnership for Education (GPE)

Overview: Global Partnership for Education (GPE) is a fund dedicated to improving education in low-income countries. "For nearly two decades, the Global Partnership for Education has been delivering funds and supporting solutions to build strong and resilient education systems so that more children in the poorest countries, especially girls, get the education they need" Funding areas: Gender equality, education in crisis, and inclusive education. More than 33 GPE program grants-totaling to over $1.5 billion-supplement domestic investments in gender equality. Funding also goes towards preventing school-related gender-based violence.
