Graduate Women in Science (GWIS) National Fellowships Program
Overview: Graduate Women in Science (GWIS) offers annual fellowships to deserving women scientists. The goal of the Fellowships is to increase knowledge in the sciences and encourage more women to pursue careers in STEM. While funding amounts vary each year, proposals can be submitted for up to $10,000 in requested funding. Funds may be allocated to support supplies and equipment purchases, travel costs, publication processes, and more for eligible scientific projects led or conducted by women scientists. Note: while applications are open to non-GWIS members, there is a $50 application processing fee for non-members.
