Overview: The H&M Foundation is a non-profit global foundation that is privately funded by the Stefan Persson family, founders and main owners of the H&M Group. The H&M Group includes eight separate clothing brands. Funding areas: Education, clean water, equality, sustainability & the environment. Through a partnership with CARE, the H&M Foundation equipped 270,000 women from low-income communities with the tools and opportunities to become entrepreneurs able to develop and grow their own businesses. The H&M Foundation is also running a long-term project to support women garment workers in Bangladesh.
