Overview: The Inter-American Foundation is a U.S. government agency that "invests in community-led development across Latin America and the Caribbean." Funding areas: IAF has funded multiple women's initiatives, such as its $7.5 million "Women INvesting in Growth and Security" (WINGS) project, and empowerment of women producers in Paraguay. IAF has also worked to combat gender based violence in Mexico.
