Lever for Change

Overview: Lever for Change is a John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation affiliate that helps philanthropists to find and fund high-impact solutions and nonprofits. The foundation also helps to manage large-scale grant competitions such as 100&Change, and connects philanthropists to opportunities through their searchable proposal database, called the Bold Solutions Network. Funding Area: Currently open for submitions, their Equality Can’t Wait Challenge will award $30 million "to help expand women’s power and influence in the United States by 2030". It seeks to accelrate the progress of women of all backgrounds, especially in critical sectors, and to dismantle the barriers holding women back. Contact: Submit comments or questions here.
