New Israel Fund (NIF)

Overview: NIF provides grants to a variety of organizations working to promote women’s rights. It also has a special initiative in partnership with the Nathan Cummings Foundation which promotes social change for Orthodox and Arab women. Other grantees provide legal support for women, advocate for government funding for poor women and provide rape crisis center services. Funding Area: Women's rights and equality in Israel.
