Overview: This relatively new Presidential Foundation is taking particular interest in funding issues for women and girls. In 2019, the Obama Foundation partnered with several organizations serving women and girls globally. Other issue areas for the Obama Foundation include leadership development, education, and health for women and girls (such as ending FGM). The Foundation also provides scholarships, fellowships, and internships. Funding Areas: Through its Global Girls Alliance Fund, the Obama Foundation is providing a platform for fundraising for many organizations serving women and girls.
