Overview: Rise Up is a network of more than 600 leaders advocating for new laws and policies to achieve equality for women worldwide. Rise Up also invests in local solutions and projects. Funding areas: Girls empowerment, youth development, social entrepreneurship, women's health, economic justice. Rise Up's programs include the Gender Equity Initiative, (to advance equal opportunities globally), Champions for Change (improving the health of women and children in Sub-Saharan Africa), and Let Girls Lead (working to outlaw child marriage, expand girls education and ban FGM).
