Sasakawa Peace Foundation
Overview: The Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF) is a Japanese Public Interest Incorporated Foundation that supports projects working to establish human welfare, international society, and world peace.
Funding areas: SPF has four regional funds, but also supports "Regular Projects," which focus on individual issues. SPF's goals are strengthening Japan-U.S. relationships, expanding Japan's presence in Asia, enhancing relationships with Islamic countries, establishing ocean governance, and empowering women.
