School for Advanced Research Native American Artist Fellowships

Overview: The School for Advanced Research (SAR) in Santa Fe, New Mexico offers three Fellowships through the Indian Arts Research Center (IARC) for annual artist-in-residence programs. The goal of these Fellowships is to amplify the work of Native American artists, both established and emerging. All three Fellowships provide monthly stipends, housing, studio space, an allowance for supplies, full access to IARC's research collections, and travel reimbursement to and from the school. The three Fellowships are: Ron and Susan Dubin Native Artist Fellowship: Held June 15-August 15, this fellowship focuses on supporting traditional Native artistry.Rollin and Mary Ella King Native Artist Fellowship: Held September 1-December 1, this Fellowship is dedicated to preserving the Southwest's extensive artistic heritage.
