SoGal Foundation

Overview: SoGal Foundation is a global platform for diverse entrepreneurs and investors. The nonprofit brings access to capital, education, resources, and network to diverse entrepreneurs within their local communities. It works across six continents and in over 50 cities. SoGal Foundation was started by the Pineapple Fund, an anonymous donor who gave $1 million in Bitcoin to establish SoGal Foundation. SoGal Foundation has since received support from the Kauffman Foundation Inclusion Open Grant. They have also received support from PayPal and Draper University. Funding areas: Womxn, diverse entrepreneurs and investors.  In partnership with Winky Lux, bluemercury, twelveNYC, Twilio, and other sponsors, SoGal is providing several $10K and $5K cash grants to Black women or nonbinary entrepreneurs through its Black Founder Startup Grant program.
