Spotlight Initiative

Overview: "The Spotlight Initiative is a global, multi-year partnership between the European Union and the United Nations to eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls by 2030." Funding areas: Prevention of violence against women and girls, with a special focus on domestic and family violence, sexual and gender-based violence/harm, femicide, trafficking in human beings and sexual and labor exploitation. The Spotlight Initiative works in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America and the Pacific.  Contact: None given. Accepting queries? Yes.
