Stonewall Community Foundation
Overview: The Stonewall Community Foundation raises money to strengthen the LGBTQ Movement. It has funded over 100 nonprofits a year, in more than 30 issue areas. It has also housed five scholarship programs, including the largest in the country supporting LGBTQ refugees and asylum seekers. Many programs focus on women and gender-non conforming individuals.
Funding areas: Nonprofit organizations that serve the LGBTQ community, especially in New York City. Stonewall also provides microgrants and scholarships to LGBTQ individuals across the United States who are in need of support. See previous grantee partners here.
