Overview: The Body Shop is a conscious supporter of female empowerment. In 2020, the company supported International Women's Day by donating £50,000 to Plan International's work for women and girls across the UK and Ireland. The company annually works with the government of the UK to publish a report on the gender pay gap. In addition, in 2020 the company is exhibiting the Chelsea Flower Show, "a garden which pays homage to our founding feminist principles and activist roots".
