The Harry Ransom Center Research Fellowships in the Humanities
Overview: Fellowships are made available to support short-term residencies for research projects that require substantial use of The Harry Ransom Center collections. The collections focus on African Studies, Architecture, Art & Art History, Cartography, Classical Studies, Linguistics, History, Human Rights, Jewish Studies, Latin American Studies, Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Bisexual, and Queer Studies, Literature, International Music, Performing Arts, Philosophy, Photography, Religion, Travel and Women's Studies. The fellowships range from one to three months with monthly stipends of $3,500. Also available are travel stipends and dissertation fellowships of $2,000. International fellows will receive an additional $500 stipend to offset visa and travel costs.
Funding Area(s): The collections support research in all areas of the humanities, including literature, photography, film, art, the performing arts, music, and cultural history.
