Overview: After a difficult falling out with Black Girls Who Code, Uber announced in 2017 that it would be sponsoring Girls Who Code, providing $1.2 million in funding over three years. Funding Areas: Gender equality, STEM Funding, tech education. Uber also has an economic empowerment strategy for women as part of its CSR mission.
