Women First International Fund

Overview: Women First is an international fund working toward a world where every woman and girl has the power to thrive. The fund focuses on countries with continuing gender inequality, and invests in grassroots initivatives by women and girls in order to strengthen communities and advance lives. Funding Areas: Advocacy, education, economic empowerment and access to resources for women, girls, and trans people. The fund prioritizes small and emerging women-led organizations in Eastern Africa and India. The next application process will begin mid 2020, and will offer 6 years of flexible funding to organizatins in Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, or India. For more information click here.
