“Women in Aquaculture” Scholarship
Overview: The "Women in Aquaculture" annual scholarship is a collaboration between the James Beard Foundation, which works to honor chefs and leaders in improving food culture in America, and Kvarøy Arctic, a company that practices sustainable salmon farming in Norway. The scholarship awards one female college student with $10,000 and a paid summer internship for one month at Kvarøy Arctic. Following the internship, recipients can continue the internship annually until graduation, when they will be considered for employment.
