Women in Economics Network

Overview: The Women in Economics Network (WEN) is a subsect of the Economic Society of Australia (ESA), created to "increase connections between women working in the private sector, government and academia". It also works with educational institutes to encourage women and girls to study and become involved in economics. The group holds an annual Gender Economics Workshop, provides mentorship programs and works to nominate more female candidates for the ESA's awards. Funding Area: Women in economics.
