Overview: Women's Action for New Directions (WAND) is a women's organization with a focus on nuclear disarmament, resisting militarism, and women's empowerment. Funding areas: WAND addresses both education and policy. It works to educate the public about the need to reduce violence and militarism, and also trains legislators on National Security.
