Overview:#YouAreEssential is a national relief fund awarding grants to support vulnerable communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds are distributed to grassroots organizations that aid marginalized, elderly, or disabled peoples. Funding Areas: Organizations combating issues such as food and housing insecurity, and/or focusing on marginalized groups. #YouAreEssential recently partned with Plume to launch Plume x #YAE, a fund to support Black transgender individuals.
