Communities for Just Schools Fund (CJSF)

Overview: The Communities for Just Schools Fund (CJSF) supports organizations and groups that advocate for "students who are disproportionately impacted by the over-use of exclusionary school discipline practices, including suspensions, expulsions, and arrests in schools". It works primarily through grantmaking, capacity-building support, donor education and engagement, and advocating for funding for community-led organizations. It is also one of the partners that initially launched Grantmakers for Girls of Color, a platform for resources and research that will improve philanthropy for women and girls of color.
