Overview: The Filia Foundation is focused on providing funding for organizations working to end discrimination against girls and women on multiple levels including ethnicity, sexual orientation, and skin color. The Filia Foundation started in 2001 as a group of nine women in Germany who wanted to advocate for gender equality and women and girls' rights.
