Pembroke Center Postdoctoral Fellowships

Overview: As part of the Pembroke Center for Teaching and Research on Women at Brown University, the Postdoctoral Research Fellowships award one-year residential fellowships to scholars in any field for research projects related to the yearly theme. (Past themes include "The Cultures of Pacifism" and "Narrating Debt.") Over the course of the fellowship, Fellows receive a stipend of $50,004 (plus $1,500 for research expenses), participate in a weekly Pembroke Seminar, teach one undergraduate-level course, and work on their research. Applications are limited to postdoctoral scholars who received a degree from an institution other than Brown University within 5 years of their application.
