Virginia B. Toulmin Fellowship for Women Leaders in Dance
Overview: As part of the Center for Ballet and the Arts (CBA) at New York University, the Virginia B. Toulmin Fellowship for Women Leaders in Dance connects promising choreographers and composers with funding for projects that advance gender equity in the dance world. CBA Fellows develop self-directed projects that explore and expand current thoughts on the history, practice, and performance of dance. Fellows use studios, conference rooms, and other workspaces at CBA and live in sponsored housing, receiving a stipend of $2,500 per week over the course of an academic semester to fund their project.
