Rehana Nathoo, Spectrum Impact

Rehana founded Spectrum Impact to help organizations expand their impact investing footprint. Previously, Rehana led the Impact Investing portfolio at the Case Foundation empowering others with the tools, resources, and ultimately – expertise – to crowd in more capital to the impact investing sector.

A forever New Yorker (and even prouder Canadian), Rehana also worked at Bank of New York Mellon to support the design of firm’s Social Finance program. She worked closely with the Wealth Management business to build internal expertise around social finance – creating a prototype for the firm’s first impact investing Fund.

Prior to BNY Mellon, Rehana was a program associate at The Rockefeller Foundation within the Impact Investing and Innovative Finance programs, and supported partnerships and fundraising at the UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF).

Rehana is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Georgetown University’s Global Human Development Program, and previously served as an Adjunct Professor at NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service.

Roslyn Dawson Thompson, Texas Women’s Foundation

Roslyn Dawson Thompson is president and CEO of Texas Women’s Foundation. A lifelong advocate for women and girls, she moved in 2011 from a 25-year career owning a national marketing communications firm to leading Texas Women’s Foundation (formerly Dallas Women’s Foundation), where she had been a volunteer leader and donor since its inception.

Under her leadership, the Foundation has seen remarkable growth. Dawson Thompson serves on the executive committee of Prosperity Together, an initiative of 27 public women’s foundations that have committed $100 million to advance women’s economic security in the U.S. over the next five years. She is a member of the International Women’s Forum and the National Association of Corporate Directors. Additionally, under Dawson Thompson’s leadership, the Texas Women’s Foundation (TWF) announced in March 2020 that 100 percent of its $36 million dollars in financial assets are now invested in a “gendered impact” portfolio. Roslyn Dawson Thompson is also on the Board of Directors for Women’s Funding Network.
